What Hip-Hop is
Hip-hop grew out of block parties in the Bronx in the seventies and turned into a family of styles — from bouncy old-school grooves to hard-hitting choreography of the internet era. Classes teach the basics first: how weight moves, how a beat is answered. Routines come after that.
What to bring to the first class
Trainers with a flat sole, loose trousers, a t-shirt and water. Nothing else is needed for the first class.
